Why change?
I think it's giving up to change the name.. exeptionally bad idea! We should stick to Trotsky and trotskyism because he was the one who proved to be right in the end!!

Our Identity
I do not believe we should change our name. We are Communists, as comrade Lenin considered himself. I realise that over the past twenty to thirty years, the practiced "Communism" has been tainted by well-known events. But the ideal of "Communism" remains true. Is this not what we all believe in? I think so. Thus I say proudly that yes, comrade, I am a Communist.
• Question: Lenin said it best: What is to be done?

Three Problems
1. How do you prevent power from corrupting? Leadership always devolves into a heirarchy. 2. How do you prevent rule by the ignorant, useful idiots? Most people who actually know very little, whether they feel that they know enough or not, and aren't interested in learning more, feel their opinion is equal to the opinions of experts and longstanding researchers, which they outnumber substantially. There are also people with no qualifications masquerading as experts to spurn the idiots. This is today. 3. Changing names because names go sour is getting very tiresome. No matter what new term you choose to call yourself, that term will very quickly become derogatory.
• Question: How to prevent Power Corrupts? How to prevent Useful Idiots? How to prevent Prelatarians from becoming derogatory?

Giving up.
Don't let the capitalists win! Don't change any name or any theories, even if you see it as a way to start over. It means that you allow the capitalists to win! We're communists, and we refuse to hide our beliefs, we openly declare that our goals can only be achieved by overthrowing the existing systems! Long live the world revolution!

Why another treachery ?
Yes, the word "communism" has been often betrayed. But it is even more important that it does not die and lose its meaning more and more, so we have to proudly continue to use it in its right sense.

Just what I've been saying- but a new name?
I'm a Communist. I have been since I first heard of Marx and Marxist principles. But whenever I talk to people, their first reaction is normally along the lines of "Communism? You mean like Mao and Stalin? Killing their own people and restricting civil liberties?" So I have to convince these people that communism is not about these people, but about equality and the removal of an oppressive higher class. I normally use the term Marxist to describe myself if I can't convince people that communism isn't about Stalin. But that's not fully accurate- many of my firm principles come from other communist thinkers -Lenin, Trotsky, etc. So all in all I can't decide. I don't like the bad image that Communism has got, especially in the eyes of the young- those who didn't become politically aware until after the fall of the Soviet Union. But I don't like Proletarianism -or the uncomfortable word 'proletarism' used here, because communism is about overcoming the division of society into proletariat and opressor. So- Communism has a bad image, Marxism doesn't include the other 'great' thinkers, and Proletarism is focusing on the wrong aspect- the proletariat rather than the communist struggle.

Surely we need to correct Mistakes !!!
But really I don't know how. Self pplied labels of the existiing communist/marxist groups has nothing to do with Lenin and Trotsky. They will be surely ashamed of themselves if they come to know about these groups. IMO there is nothing wrong in the name as actions speak louder than words.

Working together
The left is continually breaking with the past. We need continuity. Many of us decide that the leader that we had when he is replaced was not true to the communist manifesto then we denigrate the past leader. Like Kruscheve did to Stalin. We need to ask ourselves was the person true and honist forthright etc. Being forced into clandestiney by the capitalists does not help us. The struggle with the ideology of capitalism (individualism) creates many a crisis in the communist movement. We have to accept the others in our movement with out suspission that clandestiny brings apon us and accept our fellow travellers at face value. Thank you for a place to express myself.

If we fight for communism... why should we call ourselves proletarists? A communist society is a classless society... it is NOT a proletarian society.

Communism is the "last known" system that will come. As every new system is better for the majority of the people,so I don't think why we should put an end to the strungle for this very best system.

When one is deleted, all are deleted
When the deleters are eliminated, then a Utopian state can be acheived! As long as deletions are allowed to occur, the despots and bourgeois will keep the classes suppressed, will keep their hob-nails deeply planted in our skins! End ACT score deletion, and end it now! End the oppression that we've unknowingly lived under for generations, end the slavery that we live within without even knowing it! When the workers can travel about without the fear of constant deletion and the abuse that accompanies it, then Utopia is neared! Kamerad, do your part to end deletion now!
• Question: When will deletion end?

Lenin Communist in Name Only
Where I live there was a communinist movement before Left Wing Social Democrats like Lenin decided to change their name. He then was very rude about these communists, particularly Sylvia Pankhurst who he defamed in "Left Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder. I think the Revolution in Russia was one of the most amazing events which the world has ever seen. But in the end the wedding of the Party to the State - as much as the overthrow of the Factory Committees by the Institution of One Man Management. Iam not sure what to think on this one.

I would consider myself a proponent of anarchism, but if the entire working class is not included in the formation of revolution, then the plan need be moot!

Frugal's comment
This gives me the feeling that however high Communism may reach, there will always be some form of terror and viloence in the political party. It should be that communism should go back to Leninism and thus believe that everyone deserves euqal rights, however this is just th eone opinion of a schoolchild who should currently be working...
